Seska is Rich's cat.
As you can see from the pictures, she is a very long-haired cat, with dark chocolately-brown fur and bright green eyes. Seska is coming up to approximately six years of age and was named after a character from "Star Trek: Voyager" (an evil Cardassian character!).
Rich has had Seska since she was a kitten and wouldn't be without her as she has been a constant friend and companion ever since! She is a real character, is extremely friendly and likes nothing more than sitting on your knee, being pampered!
As well as her friendliness, she is also an extremely playful cat. She loves to chase after you, as well as hiding ready to pounce as soon as you walk past her hiding place (as Simon Locke will testify!) She is particularly fond of hiding, especially in cardboard boxes (as you can see from the photo!) One of her other favourite games is playing with corks from wine bottles, which she likes to chase around and even has been known to play "fetch" with, when thrown into back gardens. (I'm sure she thinks she's a dog, really!)
Another game she enjoys is shredding toilet rolls, which is a pastime that Rich doesn't find quite as amusing! (Strangely enough, Seska is banned from the bathroom!)
Unfortunately, since Rich lives in a flat at the moment, Seska has had to remain as a house cat for the past couple of years. She does get to go outside on her holidays though, when she usually goes to stay with Rich's dad in Stockport.
Hopefully, it won't be too long before she has her own garden to run around in again!
