My name is Oscar and I am quite a young bear (only just over "eins Jahre"!), who was brought up in Germany and "acquired" by Kirsty as a present for Rich! I have quite a famous face in my homeland and it is possible to see me on all sorts of pictures and greetings cards in Germany (though not like on the pictures on this page!).
I like the quiet life though, which is why I quite like living in England now (it's hard work being a famous bear!) Besides, I have quite a few responsibilities and I have to spend most of my time in Rich's car minding it for him. I have my very own seat on the dashboard where I can look menacing to any potential car thieves and where I'm best able to carry out my second most important duty, assisting Rich with route navigation (who needs these flashy satellite navigation systems? Tut!)
Despite my hard work, I do get quite generous annual leave with which to relax and enjoy myself! Often I get to visit Germany to spend a bit of time with Jame, Kirsty and the others, which I especially like due to Jame being my "teddy bear mentor"!
Like Jame, I'm quite fond of my holidays (as you can see from my piccies!) I'm quite into my activity holidays, especially skiing! I'm quite a recent convert to skiing (after Jame recommended it to me!) As I'm quite a lot younger than Jame, I prefer it when it's cold, windy and when there's loads of snow and there's nothing like the addrenalin rush I get when flying down the mountain in Rich's pocket, any moment expecting to be buried in deep snow! (it's a little bit more calm and controlled when I travel in Kirsty's pocket!)
On my summer holidays, I'm not really a fan of relaxing by the pool with Jame (get's a bit hot with my hat and scarf!). I much prefer propping up the bar, drinking BEER and PARTYING!
